tumblr really has the worst tagging system

like you try to tag a post with a cw, but bc it's a forbidden tag, the post doesn't show up at all.

if tumblr really wanted to keep ppl safe, they would allow users to tag things accordingly and others could block those tags successfully.

refusing to show posts that are tagged with certain content warnings just makes ppl post that content without the warning, which causes the very harm tumblr claims it's trying to prevent.
